Just a question...how much time and effort did you put into your pre-production, rehearsals, etc? I know we can't always be prepared for unexpected twists and events during production, but I've found that an exhausting and thorough pre-production leads to a more 'easy-going' shoot.

Chance, I am sure it would be easy for me to chill, if i had runners, and a cast and crew of 30 people, but it tends to get frustrating when you are doing everything on your own.

@ Chaddy: I guess you're right in a way. I've luckily got a right hand man who has been able to take a lot of pressures off of my work load for this movie which is nice. Still, it's a challenge isn't it? Once it's all over i'll be happy

Hey ive been there the other route too of doing nearly everything on my own, and when your on your own you only have your own inhibitions to deal with when working with a crew and cast of 30. you take on 30 peoples inhibitions. now i have over 50 people on my crew and cast now, where did you think they come from ? did they apper my magic ? i think not so dont give me any of that only me on my ownsome crap.

Negativity is the biggest killer of anything. so knock it on the head. there are no such things as problems just obstacles , and obstacles can be conquered.

and to second what Chaddyo is saying the mroe work you do in pre the easier it comes when it comes to shooting. plus remember to plan your pre-production ! then your pre-production becomes more easier !"

Ahh, yes but Chance you've worked your way up, so you must remember what it was like at our stage.

Still, I think its good to talk about negative points cos then we can try and avoid them in the future. I'd have never know about that pre-production thing had I not asked this question originally, shee?
